We are beginning a “Sonshine Grandparent” Program for both senior citizens and students ages 4 – 18 to be involved in. Several of the seniors in our church would like to give back and be a part of a student’s life. This involves investing time each month getting to know the students and their family, giving little gifts or notes of encouragement throughout the year, and in essence being a godly influence and “grandparent” to the students of Sonshine. If you are a Senior Citizen that would like to “Adopt” a student – See Joan Collett by March 11th to sign up.There will be a meeting on Wednesday evening March 21st at 6pm, for all the “grandparents” to receive“Expectations” paperwork and the name of their student. If you have a student you would like to sign up for the program – See Gretchen Hardy by March 11th to get the“About My Student” paperwork. Please return this sheet by Sunday, March 18th. There will be a Luncheon AFTER THE 2nd SERVICE on MARCH 25th to kick-off the program. This lunch will be for all the “grandparents”, students that’re signed up, and their families.
