Easter April 20th – What Does it Mean?
We are just two weeks before Easter. During this time we hear about rabbits that lay eggs and bring baskets full of eggs and candy. Much will be said about Easter in reference to the holiday and the new clothes you will wear on that Sunday, but I think it is important to understand the real meaning of Easter.
1. Jesus is who He claimed to be. John 11:25. A lot of people try to make Jesus a good teacher. Yet, He never claimed to be a good teacher, rather He claimed to be God.
2. Jesus has the power He claimed to have. Matthew 28:18. He could do everything that God could do.
3. Jesus does what He promised to do. Mark 10:34. When God makes a promise, you can count on it being done.
