They say that time flies when you’re having fun, and time sure is flying; it is already May! There are many things going on here in May, starting with Mother’s Day! We will be celebrating all the wonderful ladies that influence each of our lives during our Mother’s Day service. You can see the information for that below, but we want to make sure it’s a great day honoring wonderful women. Also this month, we will see four of our young people graduate, 2 from college and 2 from high school. We are blessed to see our youth active, growing, and serving the Lord. Our church has a legacy of young men and women who serve Christ faithfully, and you all help make that happen through giving of your time, prayers, influence, and financial support to our youth ministry. As Pastor, I am so proud of our students and thankful to you as a church for being loving and supportive of our kids. May is also a time when we begin gearing up for all of the Summer activities that will take place, starting with our Annual Sonshine Scramble Golf Tournament at the very beginning of June! Be sure to sign up yourself and friends for this great yearly fundraiser that we do to send our teens to camp and on mission trips. The tournament is June 2, but the time to sign up is now! AND if you have friends outside of church that need information or know businesses that would want to sponsor a hole or donate items for the auction, or maybe just want more information, let me know! There will be fliers available in the Church Office with instructions on how to take part in the Sonshine Scramble.
