August is here! School starts, vacations are ending, and high school football kicks off. At Sonshine, that means OUTREACH! We have several opportunities to minister in and to our community. On the 11th, we will host a Back-to-School Bash in partnership with Charlotte County. All month long, our Babylon VBS will be taking place on Wednesday nights. Last year we were able to work the Port Charlotte High School Concession Stand for each of the home football games. We get to do that again this year; What a great way to be a blessing to the parents of high schoolers! With the start of the school year, our regular school-based ministries begin again – Good News Club, Wyld Life, and Young Life. Be sure to see me or Miss Gretchen for details of how to involved in those. Yes, we have a lot going on and we are so thankful that God would allow us to serve Him so much here in Charlotte County.
